Late news of 2 RED FOOTED FALCONS over breydon mid afternoon. The welney White Spotted Bluethroat made a suprise reappearance after not being seen since the 19th and the male Red Backed Shrike is still at Salthouse.

A couple of good birds today, an uncooperative Icterine Warbler at Trimingham which only showed to its finder and a male Red Backed Shrike at Kelling Water Meadow then Salthouse. 2 Curlew Sandpipers early at Cley where a temminck’s is still present and 2 Little Stints at Breydon.

Highlight of the day goes to RED FOOTED FALCON over winterton dunes, also an Osprey over Holkham, still a few Temmincks Stints around, Cley (4) and Hickling (1), 6 Cranes flew over Cley and Salthouse and a Spoonbill on Hardley flood.

Unfortunately no sign of the Savi’s Warbler at stiffkey fen today, Temminck’s Stints were still around with 3 at Cley and 2 at Titchwell.

SAVI’S WABLER – Stiffkey fen – heard around 8.30pm and again at 9.50pm when it showed for a few minutes, possibly the first sighting of Honey Buzzard in the breeding area, 2 Temmincks Stints still at Cley and 3 at Hickling, plus 3 fairly late records of Hen Harrier around the county

Highlights of the day were a flyover Bee-Eater over Kelling and a Bee-Eater & Honey Buzzard over Strumpshaw. There are still Teminck’s Stints at four sites, Cley(2), Titchwell, Welney and Burnham Overy Marshes.

Fairly quiet for new migrants today, just the remaining Red Necked Grebe at Gypsy lane Titchwell, 2 Temminck’s Stints at Cley plus a distant fem Blue Headed Wagtail and late news of an Osprey over Winterton at midday
